Our story
Freedom Global was founded by a team with deep roots in the FX and international payments industry. Between us, we have spent decades working for banks, brokers, and payment providers — and we have seen first-hand how the market works, and how it often fails the businesses that rely on it.
The problem is structural. Banks are incentivised to maximise margin on every transaction. Brokers are incentivised to sell their own product. Neither is set up to give businesses the independent, objective advice they need to make the right decisions about their currency exposure and payment infrastructure.
We built Freedom Global to fill that gap. As an independent introducer, we have no product to sell and no margin to protect. Our only incentive is to find the right provider for each client — and to keep finding the right provider as their needs evolve.
Since our founding, we have introduced over 2,400 businesses to specialist FX and payment providers, facilitating more than £4.8 billion in transactions across 190 countries and 120+ currencies. We are proud of those numbers — but we are prouder of the relationships behind them.
Our mission
Our mission is simple: to make the international payments and FX market work for businesses of every size. We do that by being genuinely independent, rigorously selective about the providers we work with, and relentlessly focused on the long-term interests of our clients.
Freedom Global is an appointed representative of a firm authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority. We are registered as a currency introducer and do not hold client funds or execute transactions directly.
